Orientation 2018: Make the Most of Melbourne
- Orientation will help you discover and access a range of activities, events and information sessions for you to get ready for uni.
- Participate in workshops, connect with students and staff, build your skills, engage with clubs and attend our carnival.
- Get advice on enrolment and course planning, pick up study skills, and manage your health and wellbeing.
- Check out all the orientation events and activities and create your personal online itinerary.

If you're a new first year undergraduate student, you can expect a call to organise your 30-minute First Year at Melbourne appointment. The appointment is designed to help you transition more smoothly into your new university life by connecting you to people, places and information that will help you feel ready, even before classes start.

Improve your English language skills
The Diagnostic English Language Assessment (DELA) gives you the opportunity to identify academic language skills that may need further development in order for you to do as well as possible in your studies. You will be contacted directly if you are required to take DELA.
