Lånekassen (Norway)

Eligible Norwegian students can apply for funding through the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund (Lånekassen).

How to apply

You can apply direct through Lånekassen's website.

Students applying for these loans will be required to submit the academic progress and tuition fees (C form), which needs to be certified by the University. You can request for this form to be certified by submitting the completed form in an online enquiry to the University with the following information:

  • Your student ID number
  • Your current postal address
  • The year/semester required.

Please ensure that the year/semester dates match the dates on the C form, as Lånekassen will reject certified forms with incorrect dates.

Once certified, an electronic copy of the form will be emailed to you, and the original will be sent via postal mail to the address you provide.
