Health Hub Hoodie Up

April is World Autism Acceptance Month and the Faculty of MDHS Health Hub is taking part in the #HoodieUp initiative – and we’d love you to join us!

Some autistic people experience sensitivities and can become overloaded by stimuli in their environment – wearing their hoodie up helps to block out bright lights and busy environments which can help to calm them.

To help raise awareness and promote autism acceptance, we invite you to grab your mates, your favourite hoodie and a gold coin, and come along to South Lawn to enjoy a delicious doughnut! We’ll have fresh Krispy Kreme, gluten free and vegan doughnuts on offer – so get your Friday sugar-fix, donate to a great cause and enjoy our beautiful campus!
