Careers and employability studio
Drop in for career conversations, advice and help in navigating key tools and resources with the Careers and Employability team. A first-level resume review is also provided.
Careers and employability studio lab
Our Friday labs at the studio allow you to work collaboratively on your job application documents and your career planning at your own pace. With a roving staff member or peer leader for guidance, this is a great way to make dedicated progress on your documents.
Information Session: Creating competitive job applications
Learn about job application documentation such as resume, cover letter, key selection criteria, and effective ways to present your skills and experience. We will also discuss video resumes and the use of applicant tracking software. This information session is a useful guide for undergraduate or graduate students who are in their penultimate or final years and are approaching the employment market.
Workshop: Building networks
Want to better understand ways approach networking? Learn how to identify the purpose of networking, build professional relationships, prepare a pitch and to identify opportunities for networking. While all students can benefit from this session,undergraduate students, penultimate year students and graduates ready to apply for graduate programs are encouraged to attend.

Unsure of what direction to take your studies? This practical workshops provides you with useful tools that can help you unpack your career goals, explore your career options and identifying key employability skills. This session is open to all students.

LinkedIn is increasingly used as a recruitment tool. Learn how to buid an engaging and professional online presence so you can stand out positively to industry professionals, leaders and hiring managers.
Workshop: Writing strong resumes and cover letters
Find out how to develop a resume and cover letter that aligns to a job role to maximize prospects of gaining an interview.
