Women's Health Q&A

We’re proud to support Jean Hailes' Women’s Health Week by helping female-identifying students grow their knowledge to make informed decisions about their health.
For this year's Women's Health Week, the Health Promotion Program brings to you a unique opportunity to have all your health questions answered by a leader in women's health, (Hon. Clinical) Associate Professor Magdalena Simonis.
In this casual and interactive session, we will cover the important health checks you need and when, as well as common conditions affecting women, girls and gender diverse people, like endometriosis, heavy menstrual bleeding and Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). We will then then open up to the audience for more questions. Attendees will also receive a free Women's Health Week tote bag full of amazing goodies!
This workshop is a safe and non-judgmental space open to people of all backgrounds, genders and sexualities.
Please note: This event is available exclusively for University of Melbourne students.
