National Reconciliation Week 2020 | Virtual Gallery
The University of Melbourne’s New Student Precinct Project is proud to share the National Reconciliation Week Virtual Gallery.
The gallery has been curated and designed by Bachelor of Environments student Cristina Margherita Napoleone and features the works of staff, students and alumni who submitted images and artworks in response to this year’s theme in this together.
This annual gallery, presented online for the first time this year, serves as a platform of active support by the University community, both Indigenous and non-Indigenous, to showcase artworks that express reflections in the spirit of reconciliation to honour the oldest living culture on Earth.
Contributing artists and the University of Melbourne community acknowledge the Kulin Nations as sovereign custodians of the lands on which this virtual gallery was created, of the Wurundjeri, Boon Wurrung, Yorta Yorta and Dja Dja Wurrung peoples. We extend our respects to ancestors and Elders past, present and emerging, and to all First Nations people.
