Regular Activities

Student Peer Leader Services

Your Student Peer Leaders at the UoM China Study Hubs Nanjing and Shenzhen and Study Melbourne Hub Shanghai work alongside professional staff to provide support and guidance to students. They are trained to provide navigation of enrolment and course planning enquiries, peer to peer careers and employability support, navigation of Academic Skills resources and other student experience services including Melbourne Talks, Exchange and Study Abroad, Ask Alumni and more!

Contact your Student Peer Leaders in UoM Nanjing/Shenzhen/Shanghai student WeChat groups today to start the connection!

To join the WeChat groups, please email your student ID, the group you'd like to join and your WeChat ID to hub-services@unimelb.edu.au. Our Student Peer Leaders will invite you to the group.

Time Management
Tuesdays 2pm - 3pm CST

Feeling difficult to manage competing priorities in your life? Join the time management session to help you adapt to the busy uni life more easily.

Utilising Careers and Employability Resources

Wednesdays 2pm - 3pm CST

This session introduces you to platforms and tools that help explore your interests, position your career mapping phase, and improve resume writing and interview skills.

Ask Alumni

Thursdays 2pm - 3pm CST

Ask Alumni is a flash mentoring program that connects current students with alumni, and alumni with each other. Join this session to find out more about the program.

Academic Skills Resources

Thursdays 3pm - 4pm CST

If you have problem with your study skills and are not sure where to get effective help from our university, welcome to the Academic Skills resources session!

Interview 360

Fridays 1pm - 2pm CST

This interactive session helps you to learn how to use Interview360 assistant practicing your interview skills, maximize your interview confidence and best show your capabilities during a job interview.

Assessment Centres: Performing at your best

Fridays 2pm - 3pm CST

Assessment Centres are commonly used as part of the graduate recruitment process. Join us for this Student Peer Leader session on utilising the University's Assessment Centre resources to maximise your chances of success.
