Take a break to connect
Want to make connections with other University of Melbourne students in a relaxed, fun and online environment? Whether you’re interstate, overseas, or would just prefer to socialise without coming into campus, Social Breakouts are a great opportunity to meet new students from different faculties and from around the world!
How do Social Breakouts work?
To start with you'll be randomly allocated to a group of four and given an icebreaker to get the conversation going. Then you’ll be shuffled into a new group every 15 minutes, so you get the chance to meet a bunch of new people each session!
Register for a session
Social Breakouts will be in the LMS schedule, to join in:
- Search the LMS Communities catalogue for 'Social Breakouts'
- Enrol via the LMS
- Once you've enrolled, you'll find the Zoom links in the LMS
