Outbound programs

Due to the University's current travel advice related to COVID-19, global student travel has been suspended until 27 February 2022. Students with a Semester 1, 2022 exchange application were contacted by the Global Learning team in late October 2021 regarding resumption of their application.

Applications for exchange in Semester 2, 2022 will close on 28 November 2021.

Inbound programs

The University is unable to receive exchange and study abroad students for Semester 2, 2021. The Global Learning team will keep students and partner universities updated once a decision is made about Semester 1, 2022.

The University is unable to receive exchange and study abroad students for Semester 2, 2021. If you have an application for Semester 2, 2021, the Global Learning team will be in contact with your home institution.

If you’re in Australia on an exchange program

Students who are continuing exchange studies in Melbourne are encouraged to maintain regular contact with their Global Learning advisors and access social activities taking place on the Global Learning Engagement Hub. We also strongly encourage students to keep in close contact with family and friends at home and their home institution. Students needing assistance can make an appointment to speak with or live chat their Global Learning advisor.
