Nordic Quartet

Over many months, the Nordic Quartet - Amy You, Nanda Hong (violins), Katrina Filshie (viola) and Joseph Kelly (cello) - have cultivated a homogenous blend of sound and expression. Within their music, you can hear a unique sense of exploration, commitment and passion to their craft. Recently performing as part of the government funded Big Strings Festival held in various laneways, bringing joyous tunes to the streets of Melbourne. All professionally trained in classical music, the Nordic Quartet are excited to push the boundaries in the traditional sense, and bring to you a refined blend of the past and the present.
