About the enrolment declaration

The enrolment declaration is a formal agreement between you and the University of Melbourne. It outlines the terms and conditions that apply while you are enrolled as a student.

You must accept the enrolment declaration:

• When you enrol in a new course through Get Started at Melbourne
• Each year when you re-enrol in your course
• If you transfer to another graduate research degree
• When the University asks you to accept an updated declaration.

Accepting the declaration

When a new enrolment declaration becomes available, you'll be prompted to review and accept it in my.unimelb. This most commonly occurs during the annual re-enrolment period.

To accept the declaration, you'll need to complete an admin task in my.unimelb. The enrolment declaration is currently referred to as "Terms and Conditions" within this system.

How to complete admin tasks

1. Log into to my.unimelb.
2. Go to Student admin > Enrolment
3. Click Manage admin tasks
4. Go to My Tasks > Step 1 General Tasks
5. Select a task and follow the steps to complete
6. Complete all mandatory tasks and any optional tasks as needed.
7. Click Finish.

View previous declarations

You can view the enrolment declarations you've previously accepted in my.unimelb.

View your current agreement

1. Log in to my.unimelb.
2. Go to My Details > Policies.
3. Find Terms and Conditions Check.
4. Select View.

View your agreement history

1. Log in to my.unimelb.
2. Go to My Details > Policies.
3. Find Terms and Conditions Check.
4. Click the "..." three-dot menu button.
5. Select History.
