Appointments

Usually, we'll need to meet with you to create your plan. We'll email you when it's time to book your appointment.

Sometimes, we can create your plan without an appointment if your support needs are clear and don’t need further discussion. We'll check if this option is suitable when we assess your application.

This option may be available if:

  • You are an:
    • Elite athlete or performer
    • Defence reservist
    • Emergency volunteer
    • Participating in religious or cultural practices
  • Supports are easy to identify for circumstances described in your application
  • You only need one or two supports.

If we create your plan without an appointment, you can still book one if you'd like to meet with us.

How to book

We’ll send all application notifications to your student email address.

When you receive an email about appointments:

Creating your plan

Your SEDS Equity Adviser will create your AAP. They will base it on your application and any discussions you've had. They will contact you if they need to clarify anything.

Your AAP will outline:

  • Your recommended adjustments
  • How long your plan will last
  • Any actions you need to take.

You can use it to inform your subject coordinator(s) or teaching staff of your support requirements.

Current processing times

Our average turnaround time for creating your plan is 10 business days.

Confirming your registration

We will email you when your AAP is ready. This confirms your registration.

Continue to the next step to find out how to access your AAP.

If your plan includes Alternative Exam Arrangements (AEAs), we'll set these up for the next exam period, provided you have met the deadline.

We need time to set up AEAs for exams. To access AEAs, you'll need to have completed all registration steps by the following dates:

  • Semester 1 Exam Period: Friday 10 April 2026
