  • In person

This in-person Group Counselling Journey is facilitated by Counselling and Psychological Services (CAPS) counsellors. Across six weekly 1.5-hour sessions, you will learn Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) strategies to relate differently to anxiety and focus on what matters to you.

In a small, supportive group, you will:

  • Learn ACT-based skills to make room for anxiety rather than fight it or get rid of it
  • Unhook from unhelpful thoughts
  • Learn to engage in more fully in meaningful activities
  • Connect with other students with similar experiences.

To get the most from the program, you need to attend all 6 sessions and be willing to complete brief self-guided practice between sessions.

Dates and times: 6 x 1.5 hour sessions on Thursdays, 2:30–4:00pm from 13 August to 17 September 2026

Location: Parkville campus (details after registration)
