Job Application Drop-In

The Job Application Drop-In or Zoom-In is a peer-led service designed for quick advice on job applications and interviews from specially trained Student Peer Leaders.

Student Peer Leaders can support you with:

  • Resume reviews and advice, including using the Smart Resume platform
  • Cover letter feedback and advice
  • Key Selection Criteria response feedback and advice
  • Mock interviews and interview preparation
  • Students@Work applications
  • Getting started with a LinkedIn profile
  • Navigating the Careers service and resources

Designed for in-depth career advice with a Senior Careers Adviser, our 20-minute consultations can support you with your career planning and development, topics include:

  • Career exploration and action planning
  • Tailoring your application documents to the role and industry (Smart Resume upload required prior to appointment)
  • Developing employability skills and experience
  • Navigating the Australian job market
  • Optimised job search strategies
  • Building your professional network

Appointment limits:

  • Maximum five appointments per half-year period
  • Maximum one appointment per week
