Chai

Hi, I am Chai, a Student Peer Leader from the 2022 cohort. As a Student Peer Leader, I was involved in hosting careers and employability workshops, organising University events, supporting the food relief program, delivering the LinkedIn Photobooth service and so much more. This role was a kickstart to my career and helped me build soft skills that are required in any workplace.

I studied a Bachelor of Science with major in Data Science and I am now working as a CRM Data Administrator for Siemens in the industrial manufacturing and technology field.

The presentation and project management skills I have gained from working as a Peer has come a long way for me and doesn’t go unnoticed at my workplace. Being a Peer also made me realise my strength of working with people and how I can leverage them to be an effective trainer and consultant in my current role.

If I had one piece of advice to share with students: Think of balance in every aspect of your life.
