Sign up for an Accessibility/Low-Sensory session of the Fair if you experience challenges navigating a busy event space and want to attend the event at reduced capacity.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, there is an accessibility/low sensory hour at the Fair. Contact us on careers-services@unimelb.edu.au if you have questions about other events and we will work with you so you can be part of the session.

  • Yes, absolutely! The Fair booths will have signage to indicate which employers welcome applications from international students and the digital map will have filters so you can select to see only opportunities for you! Employer event descriptions on Careers Online will state if the employer recruits international students.

  • Yes! At the very least, it is great to practice your networking skills and you might find opportunities you would not have known about. Attend the 'A beginners guide to internships', a faculty session or other workshops to learn more.

  • Yes! Some employers will also promote their graduate programs and other employment opportunities. Some workshops such as 'mock assessment centres' are relevant for graduate program application too.
