Frequently Asked Questions

  • Please come! There is an accessibility/low sensory hour at the Fair and a designated staff member in pink vest for your accessibility questions.

    Contact us on careers-services@unimelb.edu.au if you have questions about other events and we will work with you so you can be part of the session.

  • Yes, absolutely! The fair booths will have signage to indicate which employers welcome applications from international students and the online employer guide has filters so you can select to see relevant booths for you!

    Employer event descriptions on careers online will state if the employer recruits international students.

  • Yes! At the very least it is great to practise your networking skills and you might find opportunities you would not have known about.

    Attend 'a beginners guide to internships’ and other workshops and sessions get internship savvy.

  • Yes! Some employers will also promote their grad programs and other employment opportunities. Some workshops such as ‘mock assessment centre’ are relevant for graduate program applications too.
