Seeking a special consideration review

Request a review if you disagree with your application's eligibility or outcome.

About this process

This process relates to special consideration. There are two stages of special consideration application processing:

  1. Eligibility. This is where we check your documents to determine if you qualify.
  2. Outcome. This is when we decide what adjustment(s) to offer for each impacted assessment.

You can request a review if you disagree with either stage.

If your application was ineligible, you can request a review if you believe:

  • The decision did not appropriately consider facts, evidence, or circumstances
  • There was a failure to adhere to relevant policies and procedures, or
  • You experienced unfair treatment, prejudice or bias.
