Once you've received your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE), you will need to apply for an Australian student visa. Your visa is necessary to study in Australia as an international student.
Travel restrictions to Australia are currently in place due to the COVID-19 situation. In order to begin your studies you will need the approval of your faculty and a valid visa to commence your graduate research degree online, unless you are enrolled in an international joint PhD and are commencing at the international partner’s institution.
If you do not have this approval, you will not be able to apply for a visa until travel restrictions have been lifted.
Once travel restrictions have been lifted, you will need to apply for an Australian student visa. Your visa is necessary to study in Australia as an international student.
