Create connections at the Narrm Scholars Pre-Orientation Camp
As a part of your Narrm Scholarship offer, we are excited to invite you to our Pre-Orientation Camp on 11 February 2025!
Taking place at our Parkville campus, the three-day, two-night camp is a fantastic way for you to meet new people and make a head start on building friendships ahead of starting your studies at the University of Melbourne.
Hear more about what the camp offers from current Narrm Scholars Efraimia and Asiri.
Camp Highlights
You will be staying in your own private room at one of our on-campus colleges during your camp, with meals, drinks, and snacks provided throughout the three-day event.

Day 1
Get settled into your on-campus accommodation, then join us for lunch, where we will set you up into groups to meet new people and officially welcome you to camp. You'll learn more about the services available to you as a Narrm Scholar and pick up some great freebies at our Student Support Expo, then explore the Parkville campus and enjoy a carnival with snacks and games. In the evening, we'll have a concert featuring Kaiit and Squid the Kid, then dinner and games back at your college accommodation.

Day 2
To start the day, early risers can access MU Sport facilities to get a workout in before a busy day! After breakfast, you'll have interest-based workshops to help meet others with similar interests and an Amazing Race-style adventure around the campus and surrounding areas with your group. After dinner, we'll have a summer-themed party with a DJ and festival vibes. We'll also have a range of chilled evening activities if that is more your vibe.

Day 3
On the final day, after you've had breakfast and packed up from your room, we'll have coffee and a range of relaxing games in the morning, leading into goal-setting workshops to help you confidently start your studies. We'll have a closing lunch as a tasty way to wrap up the festivities. After camp is over, you will have the option to join a faculty-based activity in the afternoon to connect with students in your course.
