Welcome, Narrm Scholars! As a part of your scholarship offer, you can access a tailored Enrichment Program to support your transition to university and help you succeed throughout your studies.
What is the Narrm Scholars Enrichment Program?
All Narrm Scholars have access to a tailored Enrichment Program, which provides a range of opportunities and support throughout your degree to help you find a sense of belonging at university and success in your studies. This includes Academic, Wellbeing, and Careers & Employability offerings to ensure you are supported to achieve your goals.
Make a head start on creating connections and feel prepared for your first year
Your tailored support begins once you accept your course and scholarship offer. Through our onboarding events and activities, you will be welcomed to the Narrm Scholars community and provided the tools to confidently start your studies.
Pre-Orientation Camp - 11-13 February 2025
All commencing Narrm Scholars will receive an invite to our Pre-Orientation Camp soon after accepting their course offer. A highlight of the Enrichment Program, the camp gives you a head start on making new connections, building a sense of belonging at uni, and feeling prepared for your first semester.
Creating Connections
The camp strongly focuses on providing opportunities to build friendships and connect with fellow Narrm Scholars ahead of Orientation throughout the three days, with activities, social events, and interest-based workshops where you can meet like-minded people.
Building Belonging
During the camp, you will be staying at one of our colleges on the Parkville campus. You will become familiar with both the campus and surrounding areas through activities and tours, helping you feel a sense of belonging and ease the transition into your first semester.
Feeling Prepared
At the end of the three days, we want you to feel confident and prepared to engage with Orientation and your first semester. By showcasing key support services you will engage with during your studies, engaging with other students in your course, and participating in goal-setting workshops, you will leave camp with a greater sense of what university life is all about.
