About Intro to Course Planning sessions
Attending a session will help you feel confident about your study choices and enrol on time. You need to plan and enrol in first-year subjects before the enrolment lapse date listed in your offer letter.
Who these sessions support
Sessions are suitable for most master coursework degrees.
Due to different course structures, sessions are not suitable for:
- Graduate research and doctorate degrees
- Melbourne Professional Education (MPE) online learning
- MBA and business analytics degrees
- Fine Arts and Music graduate degrees
- Medicine Dentistry and Health Sciences (MDHS) graduate degrees.
Session formats
Choose from information or open format sessions designed to provide flexible support. Both general and course-specific sessions are available.

- Flexibility to attend as many sessions as you need.
Information sessions cover all the essentials, including:
- Guidance on planning most Master's by Coursework degrees

Enrol if you feel ready
You can explore the enrolment process before your Intro to Course Planning session takes place. Enrolling in a subject will mean you're officially registered to study, and you can always change your choices later.
Session recordings
Watching before your session can also help you prepare. It's also a good alternative if you can’t attend.
We're currently updating our recordings to reflect a system change. We'll add recordings here once they're ready.
