Academic transcript

Your academic transcript is the official academic record of your studies at the University of Melbourne. Scholarships approved by the University’s Academic Board are also included on academic transcripts.

Students will automatically receive a free digital copy of their academic transcript upon completing their course and graduating, along with their Testamur and Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS).

If an organisation or prospective employer has requested evidence of your enrolment, they’re often requesting official records. You might want to provide your transcript to an employer, or register with an overseas professional accreditation body, government, DFAT, employers or global verification agencies.

Select this option typically when providing your academic records to other universities, overseas registration organisations, employers and government agencies.

Study Abroad and Exchange students

  • Incoming: You will receive a free digital academic transcript on completion of your studies via an email link to your student email account.
  • Outgoing: Many partner institutions will send an academic transcript to the University of Melbourne automatically at the end of your overseas study, or (for some institutions) at the end of their academic year. However, there are some universities that require you to order the transcript yourself before you complete your overseas study. If the host institution sends the transcript straight to you, please provide the original document to the Global Learning team for processing.
    • Hard-copy documents should be brought in-person to Stop 1; to do so, book an appointment for 'Documents, keys, thesis celebrations'.
    • Digital documents should be provided by submitting an enquiry to the Global Learning team.
