Tom Nguyen

I’ve worked in many hospitality/service-based roles but I have yet to experience the same high standard of service and excellence that I found working at Stop 1. Even in the beginning, I was in awe at the calibre of the other Stop 1 staff members who were running the training. They were brilliant speakers, well organised and somehow always enthusiastic and upbeat- it was hard not to feel the same way. The thing that stuck out to me was the fact that the senior management team was made up of mostly young adults. The representation and reliability meant I had something to strive for and I found the team to be extremely warm, supportive and approachable.

Some other aspects I appreciated about my time in Stop 1 were my fellow team members. At university, I’m always surprised by the diversity we have in our community and the team at Stop 1 is no different. Many of the people I’ve met I’m lucky to now call a friend and feel extremely fortunate to have had this opportunity to meet and work with them. All in all, working a S@W role has been an incredibly enriching experience that greatly complemented my studies.
