2. Create your course map
You'll need to create a course map as part of your application for a concurrent diploma.
A course map outlines when you plan to undertake subjects towards your degree and diploma, and which subjects you intend to cross-credit. For students that commenced their course from 2022 onwards, the course map can be created in My Course Planner.
By completing your course map, you demonstrate your understanding of how your concurrent diploma will fit alongside your current degree. This will help you work out the best time to apply for admission to your diploma and ensure a smooth study transition.
Your course map must be up to date and approved after the census date of the semester before you plan to commence your concurrent diploma. For example, if you plan to commence your concurrent diploma in Semester 2, your course map must be completed and approved after the Semester 1 census date.
If you are applying for a Diploma in Languages, you must attach the outcome of your Language Placement Test with your course map as part of your application.
Download and complete your course map
Download the Course Map template or create a My Course Planner (for undergraduate students) below. You must submit the completed Course Map or My Course Planner with your application. If you are a graduate student, download the sample graduate course map.
If you would like advice on completing your course map you can seek advice from Stop 1 by either:
- Attending a course planning appointment. These can be booked via the Stop 1 booking system
- Submitting your draft course map and your questions via an online enquiry.
