Urgently need a replacement student card?

Please pre-book with Stop 1 Parkville to get a new student card printed. A $50 fee will apply for damaged cards due to misuse, lost cards, or stolen cards without a police report.

Please note, you should use the Documents, Student Cards and Thesis Celebration appointment type when making your booking.

You can also drop in to the Southbank Hub to get a new student card printed when this location is open.

Please note:

  • Please check your spam or junk folders for confirmation emails from CaptureME, as we are currently experiencing issues with emails not being received in the main inbox.
  • We are currently experiencing delays for cards sent by mail. Please allow 15-20 working days for cards to be to sent Australian addresses.

Lost and stolen cards

If your card is lost or stolen, you must immediately:

  1. Contact the Library to suspend the borrowing access on your card.
  2. Cancel card access to buildings and labs by calling Security on +61 3 8344 4674.

Acceptable photo ID

If you are required to collect your replacement card in person, you must bring:

  1. Your expired, damaged or faulty student card, and
  2. Additional hard-copy photo identification:
    • International students: your original hard-copy Passport or Department of Home Affairs Immigration Card
    • Domestic students: your original Australian driver’s license, Passport, Keypass, Australian Proof of Age Card, or 100 points of ID.
