Unable to attend class

Some subjects may have a minimum attendance or hurdle requirement you must meet in order to pass the subject.

What to do if you're unable to attend a class

  1. Please check the requirements for your subject in the  Handbook; all class requirements are listed under the ‘Assessment’ tab.
  2. If attendance is not mandatory and the class was recorded, watch the recording of the class you missed.
  3. If you're unable to attend a mandatory class due to an unexpected event, such as illness, it is best to provide the lecturer or tutor with evidence, such as a medical certificate.
  4. Ask your subject coordinator or tutor if you may attend a replacement class.
