Unable to attend class
What to do if you miss a class, including how to access recorded classes.
Some subjects may have a minimum attendance or hurdle requirement you must meet in order to pass the subject.
What to do if you're unable to attend a class
- Please check the requirements for your subject in the Handbook; all class requirements are listed under the ‘Assessment’ tab.
- If attendance is not mandatory and the class was recorded, watch the recording of the class you missed.
- If you're unable to attend a mandatory class due to an unexpected event, such as illness, it is best to provide the lecturer or tutor with evidence, such as a medical certificate.
- Ask your subject coordinator or tutor if you may attend a replacement class.
