Other official documents

There are a range of other official documents available for the purpose of registration with an overseas professional accreditation organisation, government, DFAT, employers or global verification agencies. These documents include:

What if an organisation wants to verify your qualifications?

There are several ways a third party can verify your University of Melbourne qualifications:

  1. If you have received access to a digital version of your academic transcript, AHEGS or testamur via My eQuals, you can easily share your digital academic statements with an organisation and control their access to them.
  2. Once you have graduated, organisations can use the free Verification of Qualification service to check if you have completed a University of Melbourne qualification/s. The service lists the names of the qualification/s, and the year that the qualification/s was conferred. They only require using your family name and date of birth.
  3. With your consent, an organisation can also order a Verification of Qualification letter via eCommerce.
  4. The University can also accredit your educational qualification directly with a third party (such as WES, LSAC, HCPC, IEP, United Nations, New York Bar and Esssuper) using a form that the organisation has provided. Visit eCommerce for more information.

Accessing your digital documents

Your University of Melbourne login expires 12 months after you have graduated. It is important to link your account to another email within My eQuals so you can continue to access your documents.

Did you know?

A Statement of Enrolment or Statement of Results can be accessed free of charge 24/7 at any time during your studies via my.unimelb.

These documents are not the same as an academic transcript, which is the official record of your studies at the University, so if an organisation (e.g. embassy, tertiary institution, registration body) has requested evidence of your enrolment, make sure you find out what documentation is required.
