Apply for fee remission
Check the deadline, submit your application and get support if you need it.
How to apply
Submit your application using the online portal below.
Ensure you attach the required documents that demonstrate you meet the eligibility criteria.
Application deadline
Your fee remission application must be submitted within 12 months of:
- the date you withdraw from a subject, or
- the date your fail grade was applied.
Please wait until you have received a final grade for the subject before submitting an application.
Missed the deadline?
If it was impossible for you to apply within the 12 month timeframe, you may be able to submit a waiver request.
Your waiver request must include supporting documentation from an independent source explaining why you were unable to apply on time. A personal statement or statutory declaration alone is not sufficient.
Important: Not knowing about fee remission is not a valid reason for applying after the deadline.
Sensitive circumstances
We understand that some circumstances can be particularly difficult to discuss.
Sensitive circumstances may include sexual assault, family violence or severe mental health conditions.
Please be assured that your application will be handled with the utmost care and confidentiality.
You can request to have your application reviewed by a specially trained staff member by noting this in the comments section of your application.
