Dual instalment payments
Pay your tuition fees in two payments instead of one.
About dual instalments
Dual instalments split the tuition fee cost of each study period into two equal payments, each with its own due date.
If you're eligible for this payment option, you'll be able to select dual instalments when you enrol. If you don't select an option, you'll automatically be placed on standard instalments.
Dual instalments are only available for mandatory tuition fees.
You are not eligible if you are:
- A Community Access Program (CAP) student
- Using FEE-HELP
- In a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP)
- A Melbourne Business School (MBS) student
- A study abroad student
- Enrolled in an online course.
Change to dual instalment
You’ll need to submit a request to pay by instalments. You can apply at any time, unless you are under final notice. We recommend applying well before your due date to allow time for processing.
Your instalment option will remain the same for the duration of your course. If you change courses, you'll need to choose an instalment option for your new course.

While it's best to check your fee statements and invoices to confirm your due dates, the list below is available for planning purposes.
